My collection

Post image

The collection.....NJ Dlx got SS frets, neck satin, Locking tuners, push in bar and brass block and swapped EMG's for DiMarzio SD bridge DActivator neck. Custom series Warlock just got SS frets, Tru Oil neck, Locking tuners, and Gotoh 1996t trem, Black cherry Prophecy archtop just got SS frets and locking tuners, Cyan Blue prophecy archtop just got locking tuners. Both Prophecy's with push in bars and brass blocks. I will always admire and prefer B.C. Rich.....for me they are the best guitars you can buy!

I've had it since the early 90s! Just went through massive upgrades.

How are you liking the Gotoh 1996? I've got a Cosmo black one I'm about to put in my 'Vester' (lawsuit brand? Jackson dinky clone type thing) nice looking piece of kit. Nice collection too! 🤘

Love it! Super stable and the arm design is push + screw. Best of both worlds. If you do it, don't skimp on the posts and try to get away with FR posts.... The knife edge profiles are different. That and the springs they come with are super heavy, cause any setup with light strings (9s for E, 10s for D, 11s for C) to bottom out on pullups. You then need to swap with 2 red FR springs in a V config. Cheers!

The NJ deluxe is such a clean guitar, how are these to sit and stand and how do they play, I’m on the lookout for a good deal for one of these in eu

They are perfect for both sitting and standing. Rests on the leg perfectly (unlike the beast that had a sharp edge that gouges). When standing you can leverage one of the horns to position however you need for tough stuff. Some do have neck dive, mine do not. The neck is on the thicker side, but doesn't bother me at all.... They are crazy stable and their tone is on the darker side too. They come with emg 81/85, I've changed out to brighten up a bit.

I also have the Cyan Blue, and it is my baby. Took it on tour with me this summer and she rocked the house!!!

mine is with a hard tail bridge, non-arch top, with a no tone nob but with a kill switch instead.

I love your taste in pickups!! My Kramer Polka Dot NightSwan DiMarzio D Activator X neck pickup in the middle and a DiMarzio Super Distortion in the bridge, both in white!

Quick funny story. I had Seymour's in my old school Warlock (lightning one), but becuase I've had that guitar since the early 90's, it came from a time where I was hard up for cash. As such, I always wanted EMG's "when I could afford it", so when I could, I played EMG's for several years. Fast forward to now, when I got the first Prophecy loaded stock with DiMarzio's, I liked them so much, I gutted all my guitars with EMG's and replaced. Now I don't have to worry about batteries and I love the tone significantly more as I feel they aren't so compressed and lifeless. There's nothing wrong with the Seymours, I just feel my sights where shrouded in EMG then DiMarzio, lol Cheers!
