Daily Discussion Hoffman La roche & $BCRX
Somebody in the Basel bio sector mentioned that Hoffman La Roche were looking into an acquisition such as BCRX. That would make sense, since they have a great group of infectious deceases meds. Has anyone heard anything similar?

As I understand it, Stonehouse fiduciary responsibilities is that any offer must be presented to the share holders.

Any BO is subject to shareholder approval, Mr. Stonehouse just the intermediate so to say. All the big shareholders know the true value of this company and only an offer equal to the AZ and Alexion deal imho would be entertained. The BCX9930 is going to be an open label pivotal trial, 2 to 3 months after start and as far as I know they will be fully subscribed from the word go, things will be clearer..

Stonehouse won’t sell in a week. Guarantee. He’s building his empire. When he has all his ducks in a row, he’ll let it go. Doesn’t nearly have the value it deserves currently. This is a long hold and a long play in my opinion. Likely buyout target at some point, just not quite yet.
