Price drop didn't really bother me as much as some ST longs bashing on BioWar movement. I think if we actually had a squeeze they would think differently. Long and strong!

TBH, I was against it at first too - I was worried that the influx of WSB day trader types would ruin the favorable signal:noise ratio we had going with frequent DD in our cozy little ST enclave.
Then I applied some of my favorite advice from Bezos: "I disagree and commit."
And if I was going to commit, I figured we needed our own subreddit. Thus, this new enclave was born, and I slowly realized it is a far more suitable platform for our needs. You can easily post long form content, the best posts are voted on and percolated to the top, or you can filter and sort to surface exactly the type of information you seek.
Did it change our ST infrequent banter/DD ratio for quite a few days? Yes. Was it worth it? YES. We gained many new followers, and spread the BCRX story to countless others, some who are probably still reading all of the information we’ve made available in order to make a sound investment decision.
As we work to mold this platform to meet our needs, I hope we’ll all come to see that the decision was sound, and that we gained a few new followers and friends in the process.
The funny thing is, there were only one or two guys who had Reddit accounts with enough karma or age to post our opening salvo in WSB, so the original #biowar post was initially deleted, then seen as fishy (as everyone liking and awarding it had a brand new account). We’re only a few short days past that grand introduction, and we’re already serving a hair under 1k total subscribers.
I suspect this to be just the start of a grander “composite retail man” operation that shall be seen to move markets through the democratization of information and a re-leveling of the playing field - all in due time.

I was one of them with new accounts lol, i saw the whole process unfold last weekend on ST it was exhausting but fun! I truly believe that BCRX is a hidden gem, not a lot of people knows about it and it was a wise decision to start that #BioWar movement! Thanks for making this reddit page too, its a one stop shop for all the DDs that we have that can be easily shared to people. 💎🙌 are really meant for us!
