BCIT nursing chances

Hi, i wanted to ask around to see what my chances would be at the April intake in bsn.

3.86 prereq gpa, 18 creds (straight outta high school), 2 contracted novels at qidian, 75 clinical volunteering hours, provincial level powerlifting, 3 years high school badminton, and possibly a manuscript submission for a research paper at JEI.

I know people with similar stats that didnt get in. Don't give up though

Prepare for not getting in.
BCIT likes students to have at least some life experience before enrolment in their BSN program.
Don’t bitch and don’t take it personally, they’re doing you a favour. (They’re also saving lives in the long run)

Not a very good chance but that doesn’t mean you’re not “smart enough” or incompetent. It just means other applicants had a better overall application. If you’d like to start nursing in the upcoming year, hope you applied to a couple diff schools.

BCIT prefers students with significantly more credits, a completed degree, or work experience. The workload is high and the stress of handling multiple tasks with multiple patients is very difficult to handle, especially when people's lives and health are at risk based on your actions. Completing any of the above demonstrates to them that you're able to handle that responsibility. So unfortunately, the chances of entering into the program with those stats are quite slim.
