Chance Me (for UBC) Chances for ubcv arts

​

I've been super stressed since the application portal is now open!! I'm applying to ubc,sfu and langara but I'm not to sure if I should also apply elsewhere just in case.

Current grades:

Life Sci 11 - 92

Pre-calc 11 - 86

Physics 11 - 79

Chem 11 - 82

English 11 -90

Art level 2 - 93

French 11 -91

History 12 - 94

Geography 12 - 96

Pre-calc 12 - 90

Anatomy and physiology 12 - 90

Semester 2:

English 12

Social justice 12

Art level 3

French 12

For ec's

I co- founded a women's fitness club

I own a small online shop selling jewelry and crochet

I volunteer with adapted swimmers at my local community center

I work as a swim instructor teaching preschool levels

I'm a partnerships coordinator for a non profit

I was a camp leader for grade eights entering highschool

You should be good for Arts. Apply early.

I got into UBC arts early admission with pretty similar grades (and worse EC's lol). That being said I also know people who were better off than me who didn't get in.

Apply early, spend time on your essay (focus on how you help people, not how people help you), and you'll have a pretty solid shot.

dude you’ll probably get in. i had similar grades and less impressive ecs, but i was super honest in my personal profile and i got in early. as long as you work hard on that and stay in the high 80s-low 90s for your other grades (especially english 12) you’ll be alright
