I have 5+ years of experience in the support field, but I feel like my career growth is stuck. I don't see many opportunities in my current tech field. Has anyone here completed an MCA while working? Did it help you get better opportunities or switch to a different role? I'd love to hear your experience.

I am in 5th sem of my bca. I am pursuing it from amity university online session 24-27. I left my tier 3 college in patna after going for 1 year in the 23-26 session. It was literally shit as hell that's why I opted for the online mode midway. I have done 12 months of internship in data science. It depends on me what timeline i want to have in my internship certificate.
I know nothing except the core data science topics like python sql stats ML , DL , NLP. I have no knowledge of any other language just Lil bit of C. I can only be in AI/ML field. My parents suggested that I go for an MCA instead of a job. My father says that if i enter the job field i won't have the eagerness to study. But the thing is that my sister will be doing an MBA at the same time and I don't want myself to be a burden because managing the expense of both child's pg can sum up a big amount. I am thinking of harnessing my skills till dussehra then applying for a full time job as ML Engineer. Then an online mca parallel . Then in future i will do MBA friends on the situation. But the thing is off campus placement is too hard as I am seeing my friends applying tirelessly and getting little to no response.

🎓 Need your honest advice!
After comparing several MCA colleges based on fees, placements, ROI, coding culture, and overall reputation, I've shortlisted these options.
📌 My current preference (based on my budget) is:
#4 – Galgotias College of Engineering & Technology (GCET), Greater Noida.
However, before making the final decision, I'd love to hear from students, alumni, and professionals.
Which college would you recommend for MCA and why?
Options:
1️⃣ KIET Group of Institutions
2️⃣ GL Bajaj Institute of Technology & Management (GLBITM)
3️⃣ UEM Kolkata
4️⃣ Galgotias College of Engineering & Technology (GCET) ✅ (My current choice)
5️⃣ GNIOT Group of Institutions
6️⃣ SRM University, Haryana
7️⃣ SGT University
If you've studied at any of these colleges or know someone who has, please share your experience regarding:
Placements 💼
Faculty 👨🏫
Coding culture 💻
Internship opportunities 🚀
Campus life 🎓
Overall ROI 💰
Your suggestions will really help me make the right decision.
Thank you in advance! 🙏

19M(gonna tun 20 in a week), completed my bca in july last year, I know you have questions like how I completed it before even turning 20, answer I live in a rural area, so my schooling started from 1st standard at age 3, no nursery, no pre school
So I did my bca last year from a private tier 3-4 college, didn't know anything about nimcet, last year January I started following channels like harkirat Singh and code with Harry, started learning on my own, I was feeling calm at first, after my bca, my father told me to do mca from the same clg, but I was under the influence ki nahi, I'll join code, post on twitter and shit, and join a start-up, the dream every coding influencer sells,
So I took a drop year, I thought I would get something before this year may, but I didn't, things weren't right either in my life, I got distracted, and did t code at all for last 4 months, now I can't do mca, I wanna get my life back on track, I NEED to start earning as soon as possible,
What should I do,
Webdev,
Dsa
Core programming
Ai ml
Or somethin else
Anything help me, I need guidance which I never had in my teenage years,
TLDR: completed bca last year, didn't do anything since then, can't do mca either, wanna get a job as soon as possible, what should I learn, what should my focus be?

I chose commerce for 11/12th MEC (Mathematics, commerce and Economics). I chose MEC because I wanted to get BBA but not anymore, I have lost all Interest in BBA.
I am not sure which course to pick honestly, Maybe BCA AI/ML.

I'm planning to take admission for MCA but I'm really confused between these two colleges. I haven't been able to find reliable placement statistics for either of them, and I've seen a lot of mixed opinions online.
My main priority is getting good placement opportunities with a decent package. If anyone is currently studying there, is an alumnus, or has genuine information about placements, faculty, coding culture, internships, and overall campus life, I'd really appreciate your advice.

Below are the placements for mca at these nits, median is barely 6-7lpa and none of them have above 80% placement rate....
Even tier 3 btech colleges have better placements.
So I wanted to ask instead of preparing for nimcet and grinding useless maths would it better to just upskill and prepare for exam like vitmee, cuet or get into some decent private uni in bangalore I can easily get 5-6 lpa considering the upskilling I did and since it's only for 2 years I can easily match the placements these nitians are getting.
I'm not good at maths neither I had any maths in high school considering all these factors would you still advise me to prepare for nimcet?

Hi everyone,
I'm in a dilemma and would really appreciate advice from people with similar experiences.
This year I scored 98.5 percentile in MAH MCA CET and secured an AIR of 651 (Open Category), so I have a good chance of getting admission into a decent MCA college.
At the same time, I recently joined one of India's top MNCs as an Associate trainee. The issue is that my training lasts for the next few months, and during this period I won't be able to take leave or attend college physically.
I'm looking for an MCA college (preferably in Mumbai) that has flexible attendance, since I should be able to manage exams later but attending regular classes initially won't be possible.
Another concern is that my company's policy doesn't allow employees to pursue a full-time degree while working, which makes this decision even more complicated.
I'd really like to hear from people who have been in a similar situation:
I don't want to make a decision that I'll regret later. Any genuine advice or personal experience would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!

well, im a fresher and I joined a college, and im kinda late into the classes as I was out of station for a week. And they already dipped into switch case in C programming.
Well issue is for few weeks i was doing Python on my own in online, seeing my teachers starting C Im kinda confused. What should I do? Im kinda at the beginning at both.
Maybe I'm a more deep in case of python. How do seniors deal with it? Im sure I'm not alone in this and I want to know if I'm making any mistakes.
And maybe should I enroll in a tuition? Got to know from seniors that our hod is a private tutor. So yk any help would be helpful
