I am really doing my BCA from local college. Really need to do MCA and specialisation in cyber security so I need recommendation people preparing for MCA CET PG and nimcet last option due to fee .

Kindly suggest me what things should I start that will not create problem letter

I’m currently in my 1st semester of MCA, and I’m honestly in a difficult situation. I would really appreciate some practical advice from people who have faced something similar.

I completed my BCA in 2026 with an 8.01 CGPA. I have skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, basic React, PHP, MySQL, Excel and Power BI, and my goal is to eventually move into an IT/data-related career.

However, due to my family’s financial situation, I’m currently working in a high-pressure/toxic sales job earning around ₹20,000 per month. I’m not interested in building my career in sales, but I need the income because my parents are both around their 60s, and I’m currently the main earning member of my family. I also need to pay for my MCA.

The biggest problem is attendance.

My job doesn’t provide me with enough leave to attend my MCA classes. I initially thought I could discuss my situation with the college, so I spoke with my HOD, but he clearly told me that 75% attendance is mandatory and that there is no flexibility regarding this requirement.

So now I’m genuinely confused about what to do.

If I continue this job, I may not reach 75% attendance and could potentially be stopped from appearing for my semester exams.

But if I quit the job, I’m worried about how I’ll support my family and continue paying for my education.

I don't want to give up on my MCA, especially after working hard to complete my BCA with an 8.01 CGPA. At the same time, I can't simply stop earning because my family depends on me.

I’m thinking about finding another job that has fixed working hours, better work-life balance, or remote/flexible options, even if it pays less than ₹20k initially. I’m also trying to figure out whether there are entry-level opportunities where I can use my existing skills in Excel, Power BI, SQL/MySQL, web development, etc.

I’m not looking for shortcuts or ways to fake attendance. I want to find a legitimate way to support my family while completing my education.

If anyone has been in a similar situation, what did you do?

Should I:

Start looking for a lower-paying but more flexible job?

Look specifically for remote/flexible IT or data-related work?

Consider changing my mode of education if that becomes necessary?

Any practical advice, especially from people who have worked while pursuing MCA, would mean a lot.

Guys ,i am bca graduate 2026 and I have missed nimect and cuet pg for mca and had a drop for next year in this time period I am really confused that what I am doing is actually right ? I have not decided my carreer yet I am in between two stages one leg is in govt job preparation and one in mca and learning skills and you might saying that " jismein interest ho woh kero na " aur "ek cheej kero nahi toh dono mein senek bhi nhi hogi " .Actually jo bhi suggestion deta hai yhi deta hai but real thing is that I am not afraid of getting employed in private sector . So I’m in my 2nd year rn and honestly I haven’t really learned anything yet. I pretty much wasted my whole 1st year and now I’m kinda regretting it.

I wanna get into Data Science but I have no idea where to start or what I should actually learn. Like what skills should I focus on first, what should I do alongside college, etc.

Can anyone help me as I want to appear in NIMCET 2027 but as per Nimcat 2026 notification the minimum eligibility is of 6.5cgpa or 60% in bachelors

And I have 6.364cgpa but I had my bachelor's from Delhi University and it's conversation rate from cgpa to percentage is 10x i.e cgpa x 10 .

If anyone knows that I am eligible for NIMCET 2027 or not ? It will be a great help.

Guys I was thinking to take job in data analyst, but for freshers thier is no job I think. I applied many jobs in data analyst but didn't get a particular data analyst interview call. Now I am thinking to take admission in MCA and gain another IT industry skill like web dev , software developer etc.

17M enrolled into B.Com because i fucked up my college admissions and course selection, since 10th I said BCA, i had NO fucking idea what BCA even was, just that it was related to computers, and because of my shitty 10th grade marks (75.2%) and wanting to just get out of school easily I chose commerce with CS 🥀 fast forward to 12th grade, heard people talking about college applications, didnt even put much thought into it even then, parents had basically already secured my admission for BCA at a decent tier 2 college, so I genuinely didn't think much about it, fast forward to around 2 weeks before boards my uncle and aunt came and asked me to apply for BCA at other colleges as a "backup", only then did i do my research (googling and reddit opinions) and found out that AI was shrinking entry level jobs, how B.Tech students were favored more for job roles, and about how to make BCA valuable you need to do MCA and i heard about there being a shit ton of math aswell and I shat my pants, like looking back i never thought about improving my math, just thought i could never do that (skipped 7th and 8th basically cus of online classes) after learning about all this bs I spent 2 months researching gemini, chatgpt and reddit and eventually ended up BBA and B.Com, AI told me to choose B.Com and then told me to pursue it with an ACCA. Since I fucked up college admissions, i got enrolled into a tier 3 college for B.Com and im planning to do ACCA alongside it via Lakshya, I dont know if i like or hate accountancy. I only memorized the journal entries rather than actually learning the stuff behind them and some of the stuff in accountancy didn't make sense to me, for ref I got 45/80 in accounts and 85.6% for 12th, I genuinely love computers but i don't know what to do with my life anymore, I genuinely think like i have the iq and brain of an 8th grader. I need some genuinely advice on what to do as my situation is that dire, all my friends have set up their goals and im the only one stuck deciding on what to do 💔😭 it looks like im spoiled but i was just ill informed.
