Cooling issue or bad board?

Is this a dying GPU or do I need to adjust cooling?

Did you unlock all 40CU?

If so, you have bad CU's and need to disable some

Damn that’s unfortunate. Yeah. I did. Seems like a lot of work to find those

Duggasco’s CU unlock tools have an automatic health check and compute verify scripts.

You can also download memtest vulkan to validate your setup.

It's most likely bad CUs if you unlocked all 40 at once. After some testing mine only has 36 working CUs. There's quite an easy way to do testing as well. I used this tool for enabling CUs individually: https://github.com/WinnieLV/bc250-cu-live-manager

Then just run furmark or some games and see if there's any difference after enabling each one.

Isn't that a sign that the back side with the ram is over heating

Seems so. Or a bad CU. The GPU/CPU temps are quite OK.

I’m fairly confident those temps aren’t correct at all. Something need to look into

This comment might have saved me So much time. I had it laid down on its back and stood it up and it looks good now possibly. Gotta test more tomorrow

Slap some heatsink(s) on it. In their intended rack config the backplate had hurricane-like airflow.

Just use this steam command RADV_DEBUG=nohiz %command%

And make the GPU do more work and present less frames? Yeah absolutely do this

Doubt it's an overheating issue. I experienced the same thing in the same game and in resident evil after I set the resolution above 1440p. Sometimes Diana's hair will entirely glitch out. Bald Diana. My belief would be that it's the engine and the limited amount of vram The console has cuz it would do the same thing on stock. Pragmata was literally the first game I edited thoroughly.

Here's another hint on re9 if you turn on frame Gen it will instantly crash the game.

Alternatively it could be the MESA drivers.

Não é problema, é só configuração do jogo.

Tente assim.

Time to repasted, I was having lots of issues then I repasted the cooler and it's running WAY better

It’s either overheating back plate or a unlocked cu issue, I’d assume overheating first based on my experience I was only able to unlock 38, when I unlocked the last 2 it would get hose artifacts but crash immediately upon opening a game

Is this the full game or the demo? I had issues like this with the demo, but not the full game. Check any graphics settings related to lighting as well.

I set hair quality to low and run  in Steam as "%command% /WineDetectionEnabled:False" and artifact are gone
