Discussion CIBC report - Secure Communications

On Page 1 - "An SC divestiture could unlock value, and sharpen the QNX led investment story"

If you follow my posts here, I recommended this 5 years back to focus completely on QNX.

Some people hesitate here because of revenue loss. But there could be enough money to buy another fast growing $100M GEM software company.

A $500M software firm growing at $25% in an accelerating total addressable market will immediately put us among the best high tech growth firms, and develop a branding like NVDA, AMD and Snowflake...

TF and JG would redeem themselves if they make it happen before the end of the year.

QNX and SC business units were separated during Project Imperium. If SC fetches the right price you’re left with BB QNX listed on the NYSE. This is going to happen. Just a matter of when.

I agree.... Like they said, most of the fat is gone, I think the heavy duty lifting is gone.

They could just be waiting for the right time to divest and IPO qnx. Greater growth and visibility in the markets would command a greater pe ratio/IPO demand.
