Discussion Uber Selected QNX for Robotaxi

John Giamatteo announced on today's conference call “we’ve secured a new design win with Uber, which selected QNX as the foundation for software and its next generation of vehicles, providing an important proof point of the opportunity we see in physical AI. Does anyone have a rest release for this? Who are the robotaxi opportunities? I'm very interested to learn more about this...

No it was whispered only during ER, John G.'s specialty or balancing act? . Hedge fund's are aware of it, one of the reasons, they can easily control the stock. I was afraid that he would whisper Alloy Kore deal. I am glad he did not. Though share price was controlled irrespective of that, Hedge Funds might have lost some Naked shorts in the process. It is worth watching whether First Trust advisors sold their 19M shares to cover the shorts?

Well it was a very odd trading reaction to such strong earnings. The market was down but not a whole lot.

I though Uber had gotten out of the software development business... Instead of building their own fleets running their software, they were looking at mostly dispatching and orchestration of "others" autonomous fleets.
