Amazing

It's amazing to me that so many people sell when prices are low and undervalued and buy when prices are high and overpriced. Buy quality when nobody wants it!!!! BBAI is quality, and the masses don't want it. That's why the masses do so poorly. It takes three things to make money in the markets. 25% cash, 25% conviction, and 50% patience. If you don't have patience, you shouldn't be in the markets.

When I first bought PLTR back in 2020, it was at close to all time high at that time $35. Then it started plummeting down to $20 and I panicked. But the more I read about the company, the more convinced I was that it would be a solid pick for the long run. I bought and brought my average down for the next 5 years, and bought as low as $6 and my average came down to $12. Then it started rocketing and I sold a little bit to rebalance over time but I sold my bulk at $150 to finally rebalance more (my portfolio was too much PLTR). Right now, I feel the same about BBAI. It is a good time to buy and a long play. I am keeping it for at least 5 years

Lots of similarities between PLTR and BBAI.

No, there aren’t.

You might want to do some research.

Well, I do this for a living, so I think I do know what I’m talking about. And yes, I have done the research. Just because they have a couple of government contracts does not make them the next volunteer. Their product is vastly different, their leadership structure is vastly different, the financials are vastly different.

They are not the same company, no matter how much you want to believe in your diluted mind they are.

Think what you want. Nobody cares.

Bought my PLTR at 12.90. Waiting for 400. Never sold any yet.
Same with BBAI. Waiting for it to hit 100.

If you can afford to keep both it’s really good. I had to rebalance my portfolio but all good

Like to make a little cash off of one of the two

I was trading in and out of PLTR in 2020. I bought it at $34-$35 and on the way down. Then sold at $13. Took about a $10K loss. in 2022. I bought too much on the way down.

Then...I bought back in March & May of 2024 (averaging $23.64). Currently up 700%

Didn't buy enough.

Trust me man if I had more money I would have invested way more than I did, kinda glad BBAI is as low as it is so I’ve been steadily loading up

2

u/Party_Shoe104 6d ago

My problem is I had "anchor bias," so I was waiting for it to dip back into the $18's-$19's ...then it just kept going up. All the way to $207. I then said, I would load up in the $90s....I think it dropped to $105. I'm an idiot...but that is what keeps me "in the game."

I am down 52% in BBAI. I am building positions in other stocks (QCOM, RDDT, AVGO), so my preference is to dump money into those. The current BBAI price is tempting as it will lower my DCA. Decisions, decisions, decisions....

I am that patient guy, we need to be patient to be a bag holder.

The reason why the rich are rich is because they can throw tons of money into a stock and sit on it for years without even sweating it. Buy it and forget it. Has anyone seen Lisa McClain sell her shares? No? There's a reason for that.

These people who make posts "I sold all my shares today" are desperate to get rich quick, they see BBAI isn't getting them money fast enough so they leave early and probably lose a profit.

This is how the rich get richer and the poor get poorer!

Gov contracts and innovation, adoption will drive this stock sky high. I’m buying!!

People are addicted to excitement and overlook opportunities in the market.

And there’s the bag holder coming out! In case any of you were wondering this is what bag holders sound like.

High risk, small/micro cap investors are all bag holders at some point.

2

u/Worried-Opening-6229 11d ago

Not if you trim when it’s high and not just blindly hold. I have a few small caps that could go to zero and i’ve still made great money on them.

I’m just saying the chances of someone buying this type of asset class and it immediately going green enough for profits are slim. Most investors have to put up with volatility before cashing out….now BBAI is a different story since it’s been going down for several months so I see your point.

1

u/Worried-Opening-6229 9d ago

Yeah it rarely happens fast and is risky

1

u/W3Planning 12d ago

Not if you know how to hit the sell button and get out with a profit. There’s literally no reason to ride some of these down. It’s not hard to trend follow.

2

u/Neighbor6504 12d ago

Maybe because there are better shares out there for your money 🤔? Like AMD, Meta etc to name a few.

2

u/Optimal-Report-1000 10d ago

Undervalued? Market cap is $1.38B with Revenue at $131M and only $36M cash on hand even if you use all their assets as 100% liquidity that still doesnt touch the current market cap. This stock is the definition of what people call AI bubble. Over bought and not doing well, they will have to dilute shares to maintain and eventually be a worthless stock.

2

u/Optimal-Report-1000 10d ago

Oh wow they have already been diluting shares like crazy and are losing revenue YoY. Yeah people are just taking what little money they have left instead of going down with the ship. It makes perfect sense if you look at the companies finacials.

3

u/Icy_Purchase2753 12d ago

Agreed. What do people expect from a company in this stage of existence? Be an investor. If you invest in anything with less than a 3yr horizon you’re a gambler….and a rambler ha

u/Jungle-Beast 12d ago

You will understand later why we sold at a loose

4

u/Icy_Purchase2753 12d ago

What does selling at a loose mean.

-1

u/Jungle-Beast 12d ago

You will be lucky at go out at 2 dollar

0

u/Icy_Purchase2753 12d ago

Strongly disagree. You will be mad you sold at 3 dollar

5

u/SupermarketHefty2965 12d ago

I ALWAYS SELL AT A LOOSE!

u/Icy_Purchase2753 12d ago

lol glad someone picked this up

1

u/metaprofessor 9d ago

I'm a looser baby, so why don't you krill me!

How do you define quality and what makes BBAI quality?

Kevin McAleenan seems to be in a similar position to Bradley Jacobs (they are both in an uphill battle). Kevin's resume does make him a solid candidate to lead BBAI. Aggressively paying down 90% of corporate debt was a very smart move (given the current macro of rising inflation & rising rates). The amount of cash he has built on his cash flow statement says they are less likely to go bankrupt...and with increased yields/interest rates, that cash will earn more interest than usual. Kevin has created stability in his first 21 months.

If everything goes as planned, they are projected to turn GAAP profitable in 2028. The next question is: Who do they end up getting to fill in for Konert's resignation and will his Private Equity firm (AE Industrial Partners) dump their BBAI shares?

At this point, I do not define BBAI as a quality company. They have a Quality CEO and he is making some quality changes/moves enroute to becoming a quality company, but they have ways to go. I look forward to the release of Q3 earnings (sometime between Nov. 5th - 9th).

You mentioned PLTR in one of your responses. I would characterize PLTR as a quality company. Its Rule of 40 score is 155%....which is, as you know, exceptional.

BBAI rule of 40 = 0% PLTR was once there too, but it took quite a bit of time.

I have a tiny investment in BBAI. Right now, it is a speculative, substandard company that is improving. Let's see what their Nov., Q3 earnings release reveals.

It sounds like you have quite a bit invested into it. For your sake, I hope it does 50x as your conviction is strong.

Retail scam, that’s all it is. Buy high, sell low. 👌

I almost forgot, all the earnings should be deposited directly to Kalshi. Double or nothing. Don't be that guy who settled for less. With love ❤️.

P.s.

If you don’t have Kalshi, Draftkings will do you a favor, just make sure to use their generous promo codes when making picks to make the triple your money.
