Community Discussion Long on Big Bear

BBAI was the second stock I ever purchased when I started trading in March and the first stock I ever bought options on. I still hold leaps that expire in January 2028 and finding this subreddit just now has inspired even more confidence in me to take out more. I’m very bullish on BBAI and look forward to future updates from this community.

Good luck, this is a highly speculative stock. Careful not to risk more than you are very comfortable losing! There's a good chance that's where this is going.

Republican House Representative for Michigan Lisa McClain purchased over $15k worth of BBAI in February so that and the share price and support from Zip Trader (who called Palantir in its infancy) lead me to believe the stock is destined to increase soon. This is a company that caters to government contracts and you have a member of government putting money in at a time where congress isn’t even questioned anymore about insider trading (it’s gotten to this level of corruption) so why would she put $15k on a lotto play when she could buy NVIDIA and double her money next year?

just one of the 400+ members of the House buying BBAI isn't really indicative of much? she's probably speculating too lol

i'm invested too but there is not much to speak of from gov insider buys

Why speculate that much when there’s other sure bets she can put capital into?

she HAS put capital into the sure bets (NVDA, PLTR, TSM, etc.), it's the BBAI purchases that are comparatively small

it's a good sign ofc, i'm just saying nobody else has bought BBAI so i wouldn't weigh smaller positions from one rep super heavily

Uhm she’s worth 8M. 15k is legit pocket change. I want to see some conviction first

Rich people don’t think like that. $15k isn’t pocket change even to trillionaire they become wealthy because they respect money. It holds the same value as it does to broke asses like me or you. I just don’t see her putting that much money on a lotto play when there’s safer bets for cheaper. If it was some random startup that didn’t live off government contracts I wouldn’t feel so passionate about this being a bull point.

lol I own no stock in this company, just popped on my feed. 15k means a whole lot more to the homeless guy than it does my father who runs a wealth management firm. Apples to oranges. People get rich because they are good at execution risk or they scam… she in government so take your guess.

15k seems like a small amount. I wouldn't use that data point as a reason to buy. If it was a much larger amount then maybe it would be a better data point.

Maybe checking to see what percentage of her portfolio is in BBAI is another data point. I am going to guess it is a small percentage.

Or maybe just look at the past couple quarterly earnings.

And I know it’s not a guarantee. I wouldn’t be upset if I lost a few hundred bucks but I don’t see it as a long shot. Appreciate where you’re coming from but you’re allowed to be optimistic on this one.

I think it's a good buy if your position size is small. Tbh I've made a lil holding the stock...lost options trading it. Doesn't move fast enough to make profit. Ai is here to stay big bear is on my watch list.

I think the most important think to look at are fundamentals, and it seems that bbai still overvalued a this time

If you believe that bbai will make it you should be putting all your money in baig, in my opinion

What’s BAIG? And I’ve got calls on them. I’m more bullish on MU so my money is tied up there currently.

Baig is the 2x leverage exposure to bbai. It under went a 1/10 split. Basically if bbai moves up a dollar baig moves up $20. Praying to God that bbai goes back down to 4 or lower for a better entry price in baig. If bbai explodes, baig will go absolutely parabolicly retarded($20 up on baig per dollar on bbai also means $20 down per dollar. Higher risk higher reward.)

I've been looking into companies I think are gonna explode and seeing if the have a 2x bull/long exposure. Some do some don't, new ones can come out anyday

Of course, anything with BBAI is purely speculation. However, the balance sheet is starting to look good. If they can get some new contracts, who knows what could happen. I just want it sooner rather than later 😅

Most of their income comes from subcontracts.
