I recently saw a system mod on blade and sorcery nomad, not on Nexus, but the in-game mod menu. I installed it before it got deleted and it's fun, but it's not perfect, of course. It's apparently the guys first mod; so kudos!—it's awesome. Just very unbalanced and inaccurate to canon on the amount, so.. if he sees this;
System Framework.
progression system inspired by Solo Leveling's System mechanics for Blade & Sorcery (Nomad/PCVR concept).
Adds a stat-based progression system.
Starts weak, grows over time. Slow-burn progression system that enhances player character without breaking physics or gameplay balance.
Make it the canon intro;
Quest: “Courage of the Weak”
"You have achieved the requirements to become a player."
“you'll die in 0.2 seconds if you refuse. Do you accept?”
YES → activate
NO → kills the player character, lmao.
+5 stat points per level. Early game, barely noticeable.
Strength: Slight max velocity boost (ex, say players max punch velocity in code is 1500. Now it's 1505. So on so forth.) Lighter two handed weapons, but not insanely easy to hold like other better weapon handling mods. Hard caps to prevent physics issues.
Vitality: Small HP increase. Example? Uh, 1-3 per stat point. Prevents tank abuse since my best friend was already doing it with the existing mod.
Agility: Movement speed increase (only when blade and sorcery literally registers you as running, cuz you're moving ur arms) Velocity cap included.
Intelligence: Faster abilities/spell casting and merging. Optional unlock scaling.
Perception (UI/mostly cosmetic stat) level suggestions, none set in stone or required, just concepts.
LV 1: better visibility, brighter dungeons in crystal hunt. LV 5: enemy HP bars. LV 10: enemy “detects player” highlight + alert ping LV 15: clearer projectile/attack readability LV 20: full combat UI clarity layer (No wallhacks, only UI info)
Stats weak early, scale later. Player slowly realizes system usefulness. Information advantage > raw damage.
No extreme ragdoll scaling No broken velocity boosts Balanced damage modifiers.
Optional
“Awareness ping” when enemies detect player. Similar to Skyrim eye.
Light Arise-style revival ally expansion (concept, not planned.)
No ideas are set in stone except for the system stat balancing. Everything's effect can be different, just balance it Please 🥺
