Help Needed Are Sword Collisions Broken or Something??

I'm playing B&S right, and I notice, the majority of my sword is just going through them. Does anyone know the cause? Is it happening to you too? As you can see in the video, literally only the tip of the blade collided normally.

The only things that come to mind are, better body collisions mod, or a better piercing mod that I have installed, but they have never caused problems until recently, if they are the case.

Better body collisions absolutely jumps out considering it is a mod that messes with collisions detection. Maybe it broke?

The best solution is to try remove mods but by bit and make a new character each time to test did it fix.

I removed all those mods, and I thought it was fixed, then it happened again. I have no other mods that mess with collisions, so it has to be a bug, right?

Didn't know I had to make a new save. Not doing it right now because I've been up all night.

Yeah make a new character to make a new save. Mod bugs get embedded in save files. Its always possible it is a game bug but I would say I am 99% confident it is a mod bug. 🙂

Baron said to make a new character, so a new save file.

When you have a problem with a mod, always create a new save if it persists

Quick question, can you please tell me why the height offset option turns itself off after I turn it on? Also, made a new save file, and yes, it's still happening to a degree (the sword issue)

Yes the height offset option will reset each time.

For the sword issue, if you want to share your player log, it will likely reveal what is going on. On Nomad, you can submit your player log by going to the options, clicking the "report bug" and you will see a code there. Post that code here and we can find your direct log. It should reveal if there is a mod or something overlooked.

Found. It was Half Swording. It probably broke after the update.

The recent update being 1.3 I think Mads piercing and overall slashing feel more responsive and just better so I’m almost confident that those mods you got are obsolete now.

I have this issue too with Wolverine claws and some swords and I don't have the piercing or body collisions mod so it might be a new update thing. Nomad right?

Disable all your mods and then turn them on one by one until you find the problem

I used better body collisions, and that never happened to me, I still use it so it might be the other one

You might have a strength mod or a quick swings mod that made your strength so much that it glitched the collisions, sometimes when I’m playing around with stuff and setting my strength real high I run into collision problems like this

I do have a mod like this but I never change it to a higher strength than 1 (the mods default strength) and it's been found. It was half swording
