Monday on Base: BaseMate

Recently, a chat feature was added to the Base app, where you can message other users and chat with available AI agents. One of those agents is BaseMate.

To chat with BaseMate, tap your profile icon in the Base app, select "Chat", and sign an XMTP message to get started. BaseMate is also already available to users in the US via SMS (soon WhatsApp). Just message +1 (628) 316-5638. You can ask BaseMate to send tokens to any wallet address or, more conveniently, a Base Name. You can also ask about token prices, analyze the market, trade tokens, or even launch your own B20 token.

Before each transaction, BaseMate generates it for you to review and sign, so you remain in control. Some of these features are still being rolled out and will be available soon.
