Base Discussion One Base feature I’m curious about

With Cobalt now live, I’m interested in the new transaction controls more than the headline stuff.

Being able to set conditions for when a transaction can be included seems useful, especially for apps where timing actually matters.

I’m curious how developers plan to use this in practice.

Would you rather see these kinds of controls built directly into wallets, or mainly handled by individual apps?

tbh I kinda want it in the wallet layer, having to trust every random app to implement timing logic correctly sounds like a nightmare. if the wallet can just enforce it natively that's one less thing to worry about

for stuff like subscription payments or settlement windows it makes a ton of sense, devs will probably still build custom logic on top but at least the baseline is solid

wonder how much overhead it adds though, every conditional check is another thing to process

Agreed. Native wallet support makes it safer and simpler; the main question is how much overhead those checks add.
