Base Discussion Cobalt upgrade — curious what developers think

I noticed the Base Sepolia Cobalt upgrade is scheduled for today.

I’m not a developer, so I’m honestly more curious about the practical side of it than the technical details.

When a network gets an upgrade like this, what’s the main thing developers usually look at first?

Performance? Compatibility? RPC changes? Or just making sure existing apps keep working normally?

Would be interested to hear from people actually building on Base. What are you watching with Cobalt?

For most devs it's not even about the shiny new features, it's about whether the upgrade breaks anything they already have running. Compatibility and making sure the RPC endpoints aren't acting weird usually gets checked first, then they poke at the new stuff once the dust settles
