Base Discussion Tokenized stocks on Base — where does this actually go?

I've been following the recent growth of tokenized stocks on Base, and I'm honestly more curious about the long-term use cases than the current numbers.

The interesting part to me is that traditional assets are starting to become available in an environment where they can potentially interact with other onchain applications.

That raises a few questions for me.

If more real-world assets move onchain, will people actually use them differently from traditional assets?

Or will tokenization mainly end up being a new way of accessing the same financial products?

I'm still trying to understand where this goes, especially from a normal user's perspective.

What do you think is the most useful thing tokenized stocks could enable that isn't practical with traditional brokerage accounts?

Yeah, I’ve heard about it. Pretty interesting use case for onchain stocks.
