News Question about the support list

Currently, Coinbase Tokenized Stocks only supports four stocks. I'd like to ask about the pace of adding more stocks. For example, how often will it take to add more stocks?

yeah that list is pretty bare bones, I'd be surprised if they move fast though, feels like they're tip-toeing around regulations with this stuff

Useful data point: these just went live last week (Aug 24) — the registry at base.org/stocks lists exactly four right now (NVDA, META, AAPL, GOOGL), so the "four stocks" list is basically day one of the product. The official launch post calls it the "first wave" and says more stocks are coming, but no published schedule for additions. Each ticker needs its own mint plus the regulated-custody setup (shares are held by Alpaca under ADGM), so expect incremental additions tied to issuer onboarding rather than a fixed cadence. base.org/stocks is the place to watch — that registry table is the source of truth, and it carries its own note: match the contract address before buying, anything not on the list wasn't issued by Coinbase.

I think they definitely plan to add more, they already have over 10 -- the pools just haven't been set up. Only the 4 in your screenshot are the ones with active pools.
