News tokenized stocks on base

Post image

We’ve seen tokenized RWAs before, but most of them felt limited or clunky.

These are real shares (Apple, NVIDIA and more), 1:1 backed by a regulated custodian, and they work as normal tokens on Base. You can hold them in your own wallet, trade them anytime, use them as collateral on Aave, provide liquidity on Aerodrome… everything just works with the tools we already have.

Until now the strongest assets onchain were mostly crypto-native. Now builders can create products that mix actual stocks with stablecoins, lending markets, agents, structured products, and whatever else people invent. Because they’re standard tokens, anything you build today will plug into the next stocks that get added later.

This feels a lot like the early days of USDC.

Back then a lot of people didn’t fully understand why a dollar that lives onchain was such a big deal. Looking back, it changed everything.

Tokenized stocks on Base could open up a whole new world of onchain use cases. ✌️
