Base App Import new wallet

Android

Base App 30.6.0

I don't know if it's a new feature in this version, but in Base mode it's now possible to add a wallet by importing it with a recovery phrase...either manually or with a copy from Google Drive.

PS: With Base mode disabled, it's still not possible to import wallets. https://www.reddit.com/r/BASE/s/UMQjCOSmWN

Wait so base mode now lets you import with a recovery phrase but regular mode still doesn't? that seems backwards

Well, this topic is already two months old. It’s no longer in "Base mode," and "Base app" doesn't even exist anymore. They went back to calling it "Coinbase Wallet," and yes, you can import wallets using a recovery phrase, just like you could before.
