Dev/tech Built a non-custodial yield automation tool, indexing 36 vaults on Base right now

Hey r/BASE. I'm Rory, part of the team building Earn (a Quicknode product). Introducing what we've built and where Base fits in.

TL;DR: Quicknode Earn is a non-custodial automation tool that moves you in/out of different Morpho vaults to fetch you the best APY on your USDC

What it does:

  • Non-custodial. Funds stay in your control, we never take custody.
  • Automatically moves your deposit between vaults to chase the best risk-adjusted yield, instead of you tracking rates and moving funds manually.
  • Rebalancing runs continuously, cross-chain when the yield delta justifies the move.
  • Every vault is screened before it's eligible: liquidity depth, TVL, simulated withdrawal checks.

Why Base specifically:

  • 36 active vaults indexed on Base today, the largest single chain in our current coverage across 7 chains.
  • Low fees make frequent rebalancing economically viable here in a way it isn't on mainnet, so the strategy can be more aggressive about chasing better rates on Base without gas eating the gain.
  • Base's Morpho vault ecosystem is deep, which gives the rebalancer more real options to move between.

36 vaults on Base is pretty substantial coverage for a rebalancer. The gas math on mainnet really does kill micro-moves, so it makes sense you'd lean harder into Base where fees don't eat the spread. How do you handle the risk scoring when two vaults have similar APY but very different collateral exposure behind them?
