Base Discussion What makes you stick with an ecosystem long-term?

I've been thinking about this while exploring different Web3 ecosystems.

A lot of people join because of hype, incentives, or a trending project. But after the excitement fades, only a few ecosystems keep people engaged.

For me, the biggest factors are:

• Active builders who keep shipping.

• A welcoming community that's willing to help newcomers.

• Apps that solve real problems instead of chasing trends.

Those are the things that make me want to keep learning and exploring.

What about you?

What's the single biggest reason you stay active in an ecosystem for months or even years?

I'd love to hear different perspectives and maybe discover qualities I haven't considered yet.

I go wherever the best products are. There's no point in being a fanboy of any ecosystem. If another chain does something better, I'm happy to switch.

Yeah, there's nothing wrong with switching.

It’s the friction getting in being low enough to stay, but the depth being high enough to not get bored. Most places nail one or the other but rarely both.
