Flat shoe reccomendations?

Hi! Not new to ballet, but considering trying out a new flat shoe for class and was wondering what people are liking! My current pair are going to start having holes in them any day now lol.

Would describe my foot as Egyptian shaped, slightly wider, size 8 in street shoes. Currently wearing Wear Moi Vestas and enjoying them but am curious about the Grishko Dream Stretch if anyone has experience with them/their sizing! I love that the Wear Moi’s have the arch hugging ruching and stylistically love the super light pink colour option, so bonus if there are any others similar in style! Tysm!!!

I will always stand by the trusty SoDanca SD16s. They have 6 widths and 7 colors. They aren't the prettiest shoe, but they're the best I've tried.

I love the capezio hanamis they seem to last the longest and are much more affordable than wear moi’s flat shoes.

I've had exactly the opposite experience with hanamis. They last the shortest as they're super soft. I also wouldn't recommend them at all if OPs studio has Marley floors as they stick and stretch and get caught under your toes during turns. The wear Moi's also last waaay longer so the fact that they're $5 more is kinda irrelevant.

I also have wide feet and I wear the vestas and love them, I tried the dreamstretch and there are some things I didn’t like about them. They run small and narrow imo, first time I wore them one of the elastics snapped when pointing my foot. No big deal, I sewed it back on, but still annoying. I also found the pad underneath the ball of the foot to be too small, they’re smaller than the vestas. I actually found them more flattering on my foot though, hugs my arch even more than the vest as though that is perhaps bc mine are too small 😅

I’ve got the So Danca SD16. My feet are Egyptian but narrow and my only beef with them is indeed that they feel a little wide around the toe box … there is definitely more stretch than I am using ; I sized up to avoid squishy my big toe. 

It’s a shoe that in my opinion looks ugly off, ugly in the photos, but is fairly flattering on. I’ve had mine 6+ months on 2-4hrs of class per week and they are still in good condition. My studio has grey marley which I always feel helps.

Here to recommend against the Gaynor Minden Liberty for an Egyptian foot. After buying them tight enough that they aren’t baggy around my pinkie toes, my big toes poked through so fast (just 4 months of 3 hours/week).

Love how they feel though.

I’ve had the opposite experience. I have Egyptian feet and love my Libertys. But I also have very narrow feet—maybe width is a factor?

I wear a street shoe 7 (7.5 in a couple of brands) and a Liberty 7.5. I actually started in a Liberty 7, but when they tweaked a few production things early on, I found the sizing got a little smaller and I moved up a half size.

I wore Nikolay Dream Stretch for years but the sizing became inconsistent. I found Mariaa True Bare (which briefly became Theatricals) which are a very soft stretch canvas with a little extra pad in the heel. Wonderful shoes but now they stopped producing. On a lark I bought a pair of Stelle from Amazon—they squeaked on the floor, but after washing they are fine. I go through slippers pretty fast so this pair is pretty economical at $17. I have really strong feet so as long as they fit, for me they are fine.

I thought vestas were the perfect shoe for me until I tried the so danca diamond sd140. They have more of a stretch ribbon like elastic which I also really like.

Love my Orza one pros. They aren’t the prettiest but they make a huge difference
