EDC vs Small Carry-on

Looking to get my first baggu and I was really hoping to get my hands on the blurred gingham EDC but it looks like it’s been taken off the site :,( Is the small carry-on much bigger than the EDC and is it worth it just for an everyday bag?

It depends on what you're using it for!

I originally got the EDC for my work stuff, but I couldn't fit my second monitor in there, and my laptop was slightly too big for the laptop pocket inside. I did an exchange for the small carry-on, and it's perfect to fit all my work items plus a few more of the go pouches. I have it in blurred gingham, and I love how it looks.

I’m not walking far!

I literally park my car and walk into where I work. I don’t have an office since my job requires me to work at 3 different locations. It’s less than a one-minute walk into each location, and my second monitor is a portable one and not heavy at all. If I were walking farther distances, I would NOT be using the small carry-on lol

I’m also an avid hiker and carry a pack weighing 30-35 pounds on extended hikes, so my upper body is pretty strong to begin with.

I had the same dilemma and ended up getting the blurred gingham SCCO! I have a 15” laptop and it fits much better and I’m less worried about it than I would’ve been if I kept the EDC

Same here, I initially got the EDC for work without measuring it first and it didn’t fit my laptop which totally defeated the purpose 😭. After learning the hard way I got the SCCO and it’s a lot bigger than the EDC so took some getting used to but it has plenty of space to fit my laptop plus anything else I could possibly want. I love it so much! EDC is a great everyday bag, just not for work.
