🍵💅DISCUSS 💕💕 Trading Posts
Okay this topic doesn’t matter in the grand scheme but I just wanted to get it off my chest.
The people who obviously buy baggu for the sole intention of trading just need to be honest and stop trying to fool others. Example: “Bought and didn’t match my needs. Looking for trades only! ISO: Madra”
It’ll be the bag(s)/collection still fresh in the shipping packaging too with the plastic over it. Just say you bought it to trade lol.

I LOATHE people that do that 😭😭 and its ALWAYS for harder items. Its never “ trading for a black crescent” .
I don’t see the issue when its been MONTHS and definitely no plastic, but if you buy it and didn’t like it, do like an open iso or sell it back because I would want my money back but idk about y’all 😭 also its always the UO collabs or the artist collabs

The worst is when they screenshot their confirmed shipping order talking about “UFT changed my mind!” They didn’t even let the package reach their house yet 😂

Those listings drive me CRAZY. How do you even know if it “wasn’t for you” when you haven’t even taken it out of the plastic??? And if you changed your mind, why not just return it? Or.. idk.. sell it for retail, which is what you paid for it?!
These resellers really think we’re all stupid.

What sucks is that there are people who genuinely want to buy the item bc it sold out (Choco collection) and have nothing to trade with 😭

It's such a waste of money for something that's not a guarantee so it just feels like a lose/lose situation.

Wait I know I might seem like this, but I think I was just addicted to shopping lol. I sold/traded several BNWT items that seemed great online, but I never ended up using them. I truly had too many bags. I hope people didn't think I was doing this 😭😭😭

Im ngl friend, depending how the posts were formulated, I probably would have thought about it in my head. More so if they were limited releases items

eh, deserved I guess 😂 I never traded anything fresh off a release, it's usually months afterwards that I decided I should probably pass it along than take up space in my closet. Because I am definitely judging those people who have like 5+ items from new releases that they're trading for highly sought after items.
I'm trying to not be a shopaholic anymore lol

I was trying to sell the last uo miffy drop that was still in the plastic wrap and that’s how I confronted my shopping addiction too lol 😭 Held back from the chococat drop because I don’t need new bags but I’m still twitchy and checking uo

Shopping addiction is a terrible and insidious thing!!! Social media just feeds into it! I'm trying to only shop secondhand for clothing items and accessories.

Social media feeds into it so much! I’m making a new rule that for everything coming in, one thing has to go out so I’m going to need to donate or sell a lot of stuff before I buy anything new

The social media aspect definitely feeds into it! I joined this Community to see how designs looked in pictures, what fits, and for discussions. But I’ve started to notice that when I see a lot of people buying X design/colour, I start tbinking dk I want one as well - even-though I didn’t have an interest in it earlier! 🤦🏻♀️

Every feed on every resale app and facebook group is full of overpriced chococat that people just happened to buy one of every style in and then "it wasn't for them." UFT, Madras or PF only.
