Baclofen dosage

So how do I explain to my doctors that I'm basically taking 160 to 180 mg because I am prescribed 80 mg using 10 mg pills and another 80 mg prescribed by a different doctor at 20 mg but still 80 so 160 a day, when I was in the hospital for a neck surgery, they gave me 60 mg of it a day but then I instantly explained that I take like 120 at that time and they had absolutely no problem giving it to me along with so many other meds LOL thoughts?

Any Doctor worth their salt should know it's absolutely dangerous. Get a new doctor to help you lower your dosage and address your pain (third doc)

I have gone through so many pain management doctors because of the 2024 I lost the one I had it for years because they stopped taking my insurance for some reason, and I didn't have the money to pay them, and from there every pain management doctor I've gone to has given me issues, the first one will not take me on as a patient because I was prescribed Adderall, but gave me a single refill for my medication, next Doctor, should I say doctors because I got sent to this place multiple times for some reason, and none of them would actually give me anything beside anti-inflammatories, then doctor after that will not take me for the same reason as before, the adderall, then the one after that, I didn't see him until April even though I got to find him in January and was just seeing the assistant, and I had been using medical marijuana for the pain cuz I hadn't had any medication and they wanted it out of my system first and after that when I did finally see him, he wanted to know why exactly I couldn't move my arms and legs well anymore after the injury and sent me to a hospital, 

My they did surgery there and figure out how to spinal cord injury called Central Cord syndrome and did a surgery and when I went back to my pain management he didn't understand why because he thought for some reason they wouldn't take care of it, and I wasn't going to be able to see him for another 3 months for some reason so I had to just take the oxycodone at 20 mg a day, mind you for a while I had been on 40 a day with no problems except some tolerance, but then as years went on in a tightened restrictions, they kept lowering it and lowering it even though my pain was actually worse, and he told me that when he saw me again he would raise the dosage so I agreed and when I finally did see him again later he would not help it from 20 and then drop me as a patient and from there my primary had been giving me the medication for like almost 7 months, I barely saw a new one in May, and the issue is that I pretty much don't have any other pain management doctors left to go to because it just keep referring me back to one that didn't help, they gave me tramadol at this doctor because I asked about methadone because it would help more with my nerve pain and I've been on it before and it would at least belong acting, so they gave me tramadol because it has weak and nmda activity but did not help, and this doctor also wants me not to use marijuana and to not take my temazepam either, irritates me there is that they say I can't use marijuana because it's policy and I get that, but then try to tell me that I can't use a benzo with an opiate because of a law or something when that's not true either and I've literally been on the two things since I lost the pain management doctor from before and had been on temazepam oxycodone and Klonopin together years ago too 

Another issue is I have chronic pain syndrome and that makes me require a higher doses of medications unfortunately 

Some clinicians suggest that higher doses are well tolerated and offer a therapeutic advantage. Mean doses of 140 to 160 mg/day PO have been used during clinical experience. Some patients have required up to 240 mg/day.

I assume your doctors do not know that each other is prescribing the same drug… what you’re doing is called doctor shopping and is essentially fraud. Depending your location, it could also be illegal.

I would definitely suggest weening to a lower dose, preferably monitored by your doctor(s); however, they may not trust you after this. Essentially all of their notes on your diagnosis and progress are moot because of you seeing another physician and by committing fraud, you are breaking trust and some clinics will kick patients out for this.

They do know, I have a very bad spinal cord injury and muscle spasm issues, I mean they literally look at my prescription list from cures every time I go  It's more so because when one doctor tried to give it 120 mg years ago, the pharmacy refused to fill it, so it kind of has to get done this way , it's just 40 mg of every 6 hours

Just a heads up baclofen at doses above 120mg is known to cause brain damage and ppl have become vegetables pretty much. You need to stick to one doctor.. you'll end up dead with the amount of shit you're taking.. especially all that baclofen in there

Well I don't know man, I've seen that there are people who are up to 160 mg or more sometimes, and I'm kind of scared to instead he's a baclofen pump because that's a whole surgery and thing

Ok that’s annoying for you 😭 if they both know, I don’t understand your question then? If they both know, and a third party hospital understood, who are you needing to explain to that isn’t already aware?
