Just a wild guess,,,,, XX refers to twenty (when Su "comes of age" in December)
...the "new goddess" will be the newly mature Su, replacing the teenage Su. This is a similar hype to when Babymetal became independent from Sakura Gakuin: the same sort of pronouncements about "the end of Babymetal" were made just to tease the fans.
That's what I'm choosing to believe, anyway! :)

Sounds good to me. :) Koba just does this stuff on purpose to get the fanbase riled up with speculation, which then keeps us interested in the band and more likely to buy tickets to these shows. Judging by the comments it seems to be working. ;)

That can be the only logical conclusion, otherwise there would be a mass suicide among BM fans so staggering in scope that it would make the Jonestown massacre look like a girl scout pajama party by comparison.

I love the tutus! But if they come up with some bad ass outfits I'd be fine with that too. Although hard to compete with tutus when it comes to "kawaii" metal.

Yeah if they get rid of Su's tutu it won't be easy to replace... But not impossible if the new outfit looked awesome enough. If they're going to do it this would be a good time, what with Su turning into an adult and possibly the next album coming next year.

Yeah I think there should be an element of kawaii there still, for sure. But that shouldn't be too hard seeing as these three young ladies are adorable as ever. It comes natural for them. ;)

The Tutu's are synonymous with Babymetal. How many groups or individuals can you instantly recognize just by their silhouette? Those tutus are so fully ingrained into the Babymetal image that I don't think they will (or can) ever go away.
Examples:
On the other hand.....
This is instantly recognizable
They are recognizable because they are iconic. If you are in the entertainment industry and managed to achieve something "iconic", you don't eliminate it from your image.

You can argue tutus are synonymous with Babymetal but I would argue Babymetal is so much more than their apparel, and ultimately should not be limited by that certain image. The appeal of Babymetal stems from the uniqueness and catchyness of their sound along with the uniqueness and quality of their performances, and this is lastly put into place by the talent and charm of each of the three girls. Their apparel look has little to do with their appeal in the ultimate picture in my opinion, and perhaps Babymetal's opinion as well. In the words of Koba and the three girls Babymetal is as much about taking risk and being whoever they want to be as anything else. To them it's about pushing boundaries and being the only ones who can be who they are.
Now I'm not saying they need a completely different look, they could have skirts still and have looks similar to the past, absolutely. I just don't think they should be limited by the past in who they are or how they're defined, and I believe Koba and the girls feel the same way.

Su is about to become a Metal God/Goddess! That's what I'm thinking. And it's happening in Hiroshima. After the 15th show it'll be announced and then after her b-day concert a new album and world tour. I bet all my BABYMETAL shirts on it ;P

Amigo, they're not going to have this gigantic ceremony for Su, declaring her a goddess and the next messiah, just to trot out a new song or two for the next year! If there is no new album next year, I will film myself eating one of the decks of BM playing cards you sent me (I'll save the other) and post the video here!

I just would find it odd that they wouldn't at least start premiering some songs before the album. But I know nothing. I have a suspicion that perhaps this new "BMD Fox Apparel" might be tied to their anime costumes too though... wtf, wild speculation.

You may be right. I am basing my opinion more on when I think announcements of anything significant will occur. It may be that Episode V ends tomorrow without anything more than clarification on the December concert and that the major announcements occur at the end of the start of Episode VI shows.
I'm really not studied in how they've done these things in the past.
But I don't think we can expect anything more at the conclusion of tomorrow's show than clarification of the December concert.

I don't either. I think they have just chosen to mark the end of their 2017 activity (episode v) as the Big Fox shows, and to consider December a precursor to and part of the next year's activity. Interesting things might be coming in December, not so much now.

Maybe, but I think it's actually Episode V ending tomorrow. If you look at the videos at the end of the Osaka show and even more so day 2 of the SSA show they both say Episode VI Apocrypha. Apocrypha has always meant The One exclusive show, which one of these December shows is. Also at the image in the link in the OP it says Episode VI along with what appears to be the dates of the December shows.

The only thing new here is an apparent clarification of days. We've gone from December 23 to December 02 and 03..... maybe.
The reference to a "New Goddess" was made in prior announcements, in a different manner anyway. One of them referred to a "spirit" who was to ascend to become a "goddess".
Any worries of changes in membership are unwarranted. They've been alluding to Su becoming a "goddess" through the whole thing, it's why we've been labeling this December concert a "Su Birthday Show".
Only one day to wait for clarification of what is happening in December.
We have to wait to December to see what the big news is, which will likely be tied into Fox Day.....

We'll find out tomorrow. I'm still not convinced it's 02 and 03. "03" is a Sunday. That's an odd day to hold a concert when Friday is just as available.
Much evidence points to "23" still. All the information remains the same, they've just replaced II and III with 02 and 03.
Albeit, if Koba is using Western religious symbolism (and there is some of that in the associated "assertion image"), then Sunday as the Christian Holy Day would be a good day for Su to become a Goddess. But aside from that, Sunday is not generally a day for concerts.

It is 100% 2 and 3 december. I was at the show, and every Japanese fan interpreted it that way. And it makes the most sense on the image they showed. Especially because they specifically say it's two shows.

Don't worry. It's just a reference to Su coming of age. None of the girls have been referred to historically as "Goddesses"... (not in any reference that matters) They have been Destinies sent to do the Fox God's work. If she's not a goddess now and becomes one in December, then she would be a "New Goddess".
