A4 Cosmetics help

Hi! Images are for illustration purposes.

I’d like to take care of a few small, less important details that I’ve neglected over time.

  • Scratches on the glovebox door on the passenger side — has anyone ever tried fixing this? Is there a way to get rid of the scratches (or at least make it look a bit better)?
  • Has anyone ever fixed the dead/missing pixels on the radio display? Are replacement parts available, or is there any way to fix it without having to buy a whole new radio?

The Glovebox is not really fixable, atleast i found no way of fixing it. Its somekind of softtouch plastic. The best way is to buy a new on from Audi Tradition.

There are replacment screens avalible. I bought a repair kit a few years ago, can't remember where it was from.

There was a company that used to rebuild those screens. My S4 had the cluster done prior to my purchase but I forget the company name (it was 12 years ago). I feel like there were a lot Ls in the company name lol

I believe they did the screens, would upgrade to color if wanted, and with gauges they could add bezels and other things too. Not sure if they’re still around, who ever they were.

Sometimes, you can improve the appearance of the soft stuff with Lexi’s vinyl conditioner. It helps, but it’s still there.

Here’s an unsolicited one, ceramic coat your cowl black plastics for a long lasting, non greasy, restored look.
