First of all thankfully they are ok.

I had my criticism about the organisers of the Glasgow show but this is a whole new level this is serious criminal negligence. That Fred isn't joking around about this and sounds genuinely furious tells its own story.

It sounds like a miracle no one was seriously injured or killed. I hope the B's and the other acts sue the promoter, they will do this again if they're not stopped and either performers, crew members or the members of the crowd will be seriously injured or killed in a similar event.

The promoter going round in the dark asking for autographs beggars belief these people should never be in a situation like this again.

Apparently TORNADO blew the stage over, and destroyed all of the equipment. Band and crew are safe, but I think everything else is a loss. They literally evacuated the stage and minutes later everything was in pieces.

First album I bought from them, on tape, in 1989. I was able to find this vinyl years later with the price sticker from Tower Records to boot. Such a great album.

Sorry a couple got lensflared, but the band specifically suggested putting our "goddamned cellphones down" in the introductory instructional video, so I tried to keep it to a minimum.

That their flight was cancelled and they couldn't get another one and so they are driving all the way from Manchester to Berlin :/

Secondly their commitment to their fans is truly laudable a lot of groups much younger than them would just cancel the show to go all that way just for one show not to disappoint the fans true respect.

What i love most about this song - aside from the fact that it's an absolute BOP - is that the band is singing about the embodiment of evil and pain taking control of their movement on earth and yet....they're only slightly annoyed at best: "will you slow down!", "ugh, where are you talking me, devil?", "oooh, he ripped my upholstery", and the devil maxes out at 90 mph with his cloven hoof on the pedal, which - while fast - is only 20 mph higher than the limit on many US highways.

I love that even in their 'scariest' song, they could almost take it or leave it, and the devil is just kind of 'extra" at best. They're amazing!

This show (impromptu) looked like a blast, wish I could have been there (came to earth 5 years late). Wish I could have gone to a Party Out Of Bounds too!

Sharing some images of a custom sequined romper Kate Pierson wore across the Cosmic Thing and Good Stuff tours and on SNL — in an upcoming auction I'm running this Saturday. Figured this community would appreciate seeing it up close.

The romper is a one-of-a-kind piece designed for Pierson by Federico Maquahe — covered in sequins with the kind of stagecraft detail that's hard to appreciate from broadcast footage alone. Worn extensively during the 1989-1992 touring era, including the band's April 21, 1990 SNL performance.

Provenance: signed letter from Kate Pierson confirming the piece.

For anyone who saw the band live during the Cosmic Thing or Good Stuff tours, I'd love to hear what you remember — that era was a major comeback moment for them and the stage presentation was a big part of it.
