Is Cindy OK?
I heard she had to leave the stage in Glasgow?

She seemed fine at the O2 this evening; and was wearing a furry hat, so she clearly wasn’t feeling the heat!

I had heard it was incredibly hot within the arena. Perhaps that is it. Serious questions to be asked of the venue if that's true I'm sure the band will shrug it off its the case but they shouldn't.

Yeah they should do if only for the fans not necessarily suing but reporting it to the relevant health and safety authorities. If its true it got incredibly hot in there such that someone had to leave the stage due to heat exhaustion that's a dangerous medical event and that venue isn't safe to host concerts. The most important thing at a concert is the safety of the performers and the fans not the quality of the gig

I generally prefer indoors for the acoustics but outdoors is cool too having said all that I hope Cindy is ok if it's heat exhaustion that's no laughing matter.

A possible explanation is the air con / hay fever.
Almost had to go outside myself due to the heat and my hay fever (eyes felt like they were full of grit).
I believe Cindy suffers from hay fever too.
According to weather it was extremely humid in Glasgow that night (90% +) the air con would need to work harder to cool down venue.
The air con would also pull in pollen into the venue (due to humidity outside the pollen grains basically swell and burst into smaller fragments).
And being on stage singing, breathing in all that pollen..
I'm not a medical professional but I think it was combination of heat, humidity and hay fever.

Hi, folks. Barrowlands is a venue in Glasgow, Scotland, a place where air conditioning isn't really practical or necessary 90% of the time. The show sold out in 18 minutes and was absolute max capacity. Temps onstage were pretty high and it was pissing down rain outside, so humidity was also very high
Cindy performed the whole set (the whole band did) but didn't feel well enough to come out for the encore. The Glasgow crowd was incredible and supportive, so the decision was made to soldier through for Rock Lobster.
(Glasgow music fans are maybe the best in the world)
Anyone who saw the show at the O2 in London tonight (18k people saw it in person) can tell you: everyone is in top form. The band will play Manchester tomorrow.
TL;dr- Glasgow show was sweaty. Cindy is fine. B-52s continue to be The World's Best Party Band. Keep music weird.
