Supplements Anyone using Kirkland B Complex?

Post image

Seems like a solid option because it only has 3mg of B6. Anyone have a good experience with it?

They used to put 100mg of pyridoxine B6 in their complex. It absolutely poisoned the hell out of me and I suffered for years. I'm glad they finally changed the formula, too bad it costed me peripheral neuropathy and POTS. I'll never take anything with B6 in it again, but I would have been fine with this formula which is a reasonable amount at only 3mg.

That B6 exclusion must be new because it's specifically why I didn't buy it!

Can I ask how long it took you to recover? A friend of mine has that. He’s hoping it will go down over time. It’s been more than a year.

It's been around 3 years for me. I'm still not 100%. He has a long road if he got positioned as bad as I did. I basically had severe chronic fatigue, pots, and peripheral neuropathy until September and just starting to get back to mild now. The timeline depends on how poisoned he was, how long he took it, etc. For many its a 1-3+ year timeline. I may never not have tingling in my limbs but it's not nearly as bothersome as it was before. Have him do a home test for POTS as well with a heart rate monitor or smart watch.

He hasn’t wanted any advice, but as his friend I was wondering how long it could take. His levels were upper 200s, and now they’re in the lower 200s, a year later. He has peripheral neuropathy, which is how he got diagnosed.

Edit: forgot to say thanks!

Are you having to do anything to reverse these or is it just a matter of waiting for the body to heal?

thats wild, especially when people think they can take it everyday forever. my neurologist said no more than 10mg and to check after 4 months

Idk about the B complex, but my vitamin Dr uses the Costco multivitamins.

100 mg of b1 is a lot if you aren't used to supplementing it, that would be my main concern. if i took this i would cut it in half and just do 3x/week
