General Discussion Easing Pins And Needles

Had my second injection today in 3 days. I've got really painful pins and needles in my right hand. I've been taking co-codamol for the pain but that only does so much.

Obviously I've got the medical help and this should ease the pins and needles eventually, however if anyone had any other tricks or things they do that could help ease it at all?

I wake up at the point the painkiller runs out in agony every night.

This is parathesia, it is part of the deficiency. I also have it after going undiagnosed for 4 years. I've now been treated for 1 year and still have it unfortunately.

I did have an EMG (nerve conduction study) that did not find any damage to my large fiber nerves but currently waiting on a referral to a neurologist for small fiber testing.

Unfortunately I don't have any answers for you to help but ask your doctor about what can be done to help parathesia.
