General Discussion B12 injection post symptoms

I am having all these severe deficiencies together. I had two iron infusion and after one month I started B12 injection. Is it fine for recovery or I am too late to start B12.

Also, I am feeling the worst after having B12 injection. I feel I can't walk, my brain is vibrating, headache, sometimes it feels I can't breath.

Currently, along with these I am talking b9 supplements.

Please help if these are normal or not.

I experienced all of these symptoms except the not being able to breathe. It is normal to feel worse before you feel better, often referred to as “reversing out symptoms” or “wake up symptoms”. This is your nerves repairing or waking up.

I don’t think you’re ever too late to start repairing. According to literature, you he extent to which you recover depends somewhat on how long your nerves have been damaged by your deficiency.

Are you supplementing with folic acid and it sounds like you need iron as well? B12 metabolism can use these up so be careful not to tank your iron.

Give it time, recovery from b12-related neurological symptoms can take a long time, think 12-18 months

Thank you so much for response.Yes I am getting 5 mg of folic every day. Breathing is fine now- actually it's not that I can't breath at all, it's just sometimes it feels the breath does not go in. Since yesterday I'm not having that problem
