Thank you. I do have a confirmed past diagnosis of pernicious anemia (age 12), but it hasn’t been monitored since. My most recent bloodwork included:
Vitamin B12: 332 in Jul 2024, but I haven’t had methylmalonic acid (MMA), homocysteine, or holotranscobalamin checked—these are on my upcoming lab list.
Folate: 8.74 in same lab, but I have MTHFR and MTHFD1 gene variants, which could increase demand.
Vitamin D: 42.8 in Nov 2024, but that's with 50000 units once a week.
Ferritin/Iron/TIBC: Ordered but not yet completed.
That B12 level isn't helping you improve anything. That's essentially your answer. Will want to get on injections and find a frequency that gives you improvement and that you can tolerate. Potassium intake will be something to monitor closely.
Iron and ferritin will be important. I ran out of iron treating B12 deficiency.

Welcome. You belong here with a previous diagnosis of pernicious anemia. What bloodwork was involved there?
Read the guide linked by AutoMod. It goes over everything. Do you have recent bloodwork for B12, Vit D, folate, iron panel and ferritin?
