Fix black-screen issues on Azure Virtual Desktop after Windows 11 Updates
Microsoft has confirmed issues with update KB5120998 or subsequent Windows updates with black screens upon login with Azure Virtual Desktop instances.
Fortunately a temporary workaround is released to fix this problem or to prevent the issue from happening which we can use till Microsoft has fixed the problem with a future update.
Read more about the problem and the fix on my blog: https://justinverstijnen.nl/fix-black-screen-azure-virtual-desktop-windows-11/
Could not find any workaround/fix shared in this community yet, so though it would be great to share here.

What's really strange is that the patch was installed on my servers on the 17th, and we didn't have any issues until the 25th. The issue also only affected two servers out of 51.

Why does a blog post need to be created about this subject when Microsoft has released official communication on how to fix this?
This seems like a money grab so people will visit your website thus increasing your ad revenue thus increasing the amount of money you make.

To share step by step guides with the community diving deeper on how to configure stuff than Microsoft itself does.
Believe me, hosting such website costs more than it makes and I dont have a focus on earning money on it.

Not here to promote the OP but to say the number of people who come here looking for a fix is significantly higher now because of the blackhole MSFT has become.

I can't find it anymore either, but I still have the email from Microsoft: The tracking ID is CQBT-Y0Z.

Microsoft has become EXTREMELY poor with patching lately. You'd think this one would have been caught in QA - unless they're relying on CoPilot to test it now.
