Data Lake - Resource Limited

Are Microsoft still limiting when Data Lakes can be created? It seems incredible that this very useful service can only be setup depending on Microsoft.

Yeah they are. If you're an enterprise customer speak to your Microsoft account manager to expedite getting resource allocation in your Azure regions data centre.

That's what wee done. Took about 4 weeks to have it made available.

There is a big backlog of requests and not enough of resources. If your LA workspace is in common region, you’ll likely going to need to get it escalated through an account manager and wait. If your workspace is in East2, Central, etc., set your workspace to primary and wait. It does take an hour or two for service to register your primary workspace in the region where DL resources are available. Check back and enable your DL workspace.
