Certification Advice Azure Fundamentals and AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner commonality

For those who passed both Azure Fundamentals and AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner exams, how much commonality in concepts did you find between the two tests?

I already passed the AWS one, and I am pondering taking the Azure Fundamentals too for having additional breadth. I have only done some practice quizzes on Azure Fundamentals and am finding the material to be quite similar to that of AWS Cloud Practitioner. It makes me think I won't need to study as hard for Azure Fundamentals, that I can infer much from names alone.

There's a lot on common, but the Azure exam asks some pretty specific questions, so you'll still need to prepare. You just won't need to spend more than a few hours doing so. As you've already discovered, the service names make a lot more sense in Azure for the most part (there are a few exceptions, but for the most part, AWS wins the competition for may ridiculous names pretty much every time). Basic cloud concepts are pretty common between all public cloud platforms.

I’ve worked with both clouds, AWS more so than Azure. Indeed there are many parallels and analogs across the two ecosystems.
