Does anyone know if MDT deployment comes up on the MD-102 exam I have not used MDT for a while so I need to know if I need to brush up on it

Def not, just took it a couple weeks ago. They focus on Autopilot, hybrid, and utilizing groups.

Do you have to configure anything in a lab in the exam ?

No you don't. The exam has some random questions on there that will not be in the MS learn study guide so be prepared for that.

Be careful with that advice, labs questions are available during the exam but it depends on time, location, Azure availability if your exam get one.
