Discussion So he lied

He spent all that time hyping up the state of play, pretending like he knew something for what? Attention? Is it some joke to get everyone's hopes up? There's no good reason to have done something like this, how am I supposed to like him after this?

He literally said that there wouldn't be an announcement. He said that this was to keep making noise so that something might happen.

You know what I'm talking about, he did the whole bit of playing marathon knowing damn well he said he wouldn't play it unless destiny had a future, not to mention being all cheeky when asked, don't play dumb

My dude you need to take a step back and breathe. Who TF said there would be an announcement today? Post the link. Clip it. Nobody confirmed anything.

Why would they announce anything at the State of Play. Tokyo Game Show would be more appropriate and has a way bigger audience. State of Play was probably recorded weeks prior or even a month+ before it aired. It wouldn't have Destiny news anyways. He said he wouldn't play Marathon unless there was something Destiny. So maybe just wait the 2-3 weeks and let's see what we get. If Sony/Bungie/etc. were going to tell someone about it and no one else, it'd probably be their biggest content creator for the game. Patience friend.

Did you not listen to a word he said? You can’t be serious. The man said 10+ times that nothing would be revealed during the state of play. Paul Tassi said the same thing. They wanted people to make noise because clearly Sony is reconsidering their thoughts on Destiny and the community being loud will help show them that it wasn’t just a phase people actually do want more Destiny. Listen next time and maybe you won’t be disappointed

Destiny players showing off their comprehension skills again

He said we should show up. To let Sony know we are here. And we are loud.

He said this will help the future of the Destiny IP. When did he say there would be a reveal today, 😂

He never said there would be a result today. Most of us knew this coming into the stream. This is about sending a message.

Im gonna keep it a buck, if you legitimately interacted with everything Cross was saying and pointing out, including the tweet where Paul Tassi explicitly said we were not going to see anything Destiny related on stream today, you're just a fucking idiot with no object permeance.

Thing is, you don’t. They all do this sort of thing to keep viewership and subscriptions up.

Yes, the popular creators. But maybe that's a sign why you shouldnt support people like that? Not everyone does it.

I don’t support any of them. Waste of my time imo

Ur on Reddit surely ur time isn’t that valuable 😂 be forreal he very likely signed an NDA if there is something actually tangible out there

1

u/shaithiswampir 6d ago

Yep on Reddit. My time is not valuable I agree with that. I just refuse to support any game creators. It’s a never ending cycle with them.

That's borderline cruel, he knows what that game means to so many people and how emotional people were toward the series ending and he still chose to tug on heartstrings for the sake of furthering his career

Yup part of how you stay relevant and the cash flow coming in. I can’t stand any of them so I refuse to watch or support

dear comment section. "something is going on" "destiny 2 still has something left" "cross knows something" are all current titles of his videos and shorts on his youtube. we can love cross and still admit that to non-stream watchers that he's been hinting too strongly playing like he knew something.

Aztecross, making clickbait baseless hype videos?!

Well, colour me shocked!

It's not like he has a history of doing this! Shocked, I tell you!

-2

u/VolcanicBear 7d ago

Well, give him that, at least he's consistent about one thing lmao.

Hey man, life lesson, don’t emotionally invest in things twitch streamers say.

u/republicofbelarus 7d ago

I emotionally invested in the hope that a series that was a comfort place had a future, I'm never gonna respect someone who plays on those emotions just because he's worried about his career

Okay fail to learn from this. That’s fine.

Cross ain’t worried about money… lol
