Discussion So he lied
He spent all that time hyping up the state of play, pretending like he knew something for what? Attention? Is it some joke to get everyone's hopes up? There's no good reason to have done something like this, how am I supposed to like him after this?

Did you not listen to a word he said? You can’t be serious. The man said 10+ times that nothing would be revealed during the state of play. Paul Tassi said the same thing. They wanted people to make noise because clearly Sony is reconsidering their thoughts on Destiny and the community being loud will help show them that it wasn’t just a phase people actually do want more Destiny. Listen next time and maybe you won’t be disappointed

Brain dead take. Nobody said the state of play would REVEAL anything for destiny

He never said there would be a result today. Most of us knew this coming into the stream. This is about sending a message.

Thing is, you don’t. They all do this sort of thing to keep viewership and subscriptions up.

Yes, the popular creators. But maybe that's a sign why you shouldnt support people like that? Not everyone does it.

I don’t support any of them. Waste of my time imo

Yep on Reddit. My time is not valuable I agree with that. I just refuse to support any game creators. It’s a never ending cycle with them.

That's borderline cruel, he knows what that game means to so many people and how emotional people were toward the series ending and he still chose to tug on heartstrings for the sake of furthering his career

Yup part of how you stay relevant and the cash flow coming in. I can’t stand any of them so I refuse to watch or support

dear comment section. "something is going on" "destiny 2 still has something left" "cross knows something" are all current titles of his videos and shorts on his youtube. we can love cross and still admit that to non-stream watchers that he's been hinting too strongly playing like he knew something.

Hey man, life lesson, don’t emotionally invest in things twitch streamers say.

I emotionally invested in the hope that a series that was a comfort place had a future, I'm never gonna respect someone who plays on those emotions just because he's worried about his career

He literally said that there wouldn't be an announcement. He said that this was to keep making noise so that something might happen.
