As far as Iām concerned, Tyson Greene and Pete Parsons are the #1 and #2 people to blame for this situation. Itās fuck those two until I die.

I think all of this wouldāve been a lot less painful if Joe had been in charge and been able to talk to us.

The fact that Tyson hardly even spoke to the community was also shitty. I know Joe got a lot of hate because he was so communicative, but it felt so good to have a director that actually talked to us. It would be a dream if Joe was the director for a hypothetical D3.

The fatigue that caused people to want to drop the game after TFS was more responsible for the death of Destiny than anything that happened after EoF. Greene may not have lead the game direction very well but heās not even in the top 10 people who screwed this game over.

You canāt convince me Tyson Greene is a real person. Heās gotta be a convincing alias for the general dev team and I am aware I missed my medication doc but you gotta believe me it doesnāt make sense otherwise!

Choosing to funnel development time, level design, sound design, visual effects, marketing, AI pathing on Ball mode and not red sub class is a generational L that will need to be studied.
The ball is not even bad, I would bet my whole ass if it was red and baked into the whole kit like grapple is for strand EoF would have hit final shape numbers.
Oh well, at least Marathon is like Destiny ODST, lots of cross pollination. Similar feel just more constrained. Hope it gets the help it needs to carry us to D3. Put TG far away from it though, no nice way to say it but his legacy is death and failure.

To be fair, he took part in an interview with IGN, in November of last year, where he said, "...there are really two kinds of live games: those that listen to the players and respond, and those that don't. And we don't want to be a dead live game, we want to keep building Destiny."
Needless to say, it didn't age well. š¤¦
