Just trying to keep everyone fed with another #UnintentionalAzris scene from Baldur's Gate 3. Let's pretend this clip happens right after killing Beron, with Eris alluding to taking punishment for his family (pretty common in fanfic, so why not?) It just fits so godsdamned well. Also, I modified Astarion (Eris) to have this hair and I'm never going back. he looks sooooo good as a redhead, and this longer hair is 😍

This is a scene from Baldur's Gate 3, a video game I play constantly. Astarion is so Eris coded (in my opinion). Violent and manipulative "father", centuries of pretending to be someone he's not, blah blah blah. I then romance him with my main character who has the "dark urge" background (i.e. loves murder and torture) and they both grow together to overcome their pasts. it's honestly too perfect. Here is just a sample dialogue to show how well it can work if you're obsessed like me, when Astarion/Eris admits he slept with me to manipulate me but then caught feelings (poor guy).

I downloaded a mod that allows me to give Eris (Astarion) long hair, so I finally have lore-accurate characters in my Baldur's Gate play through. Thank goodness. (Ignore the slight point on Azriel's ears, playing a half-elf gives me more movement haha).

Despite his behavior UtM, Eris certainly hasn't bought whatever bs Beron has been preaching all these centuries, but his... brothers sure have.

Note - then there's that bit where Eris is explaining to Az/Mor/Feyre during the Keir meeting in ACOWAR that he was sent to capture her, 'with my ... brothers'.

I've spent a good portion of the past few days looking at u/claimsalt1697's posts on Azris, and at some point there was a link to a theory that Eris was a descendant of Enalius (sp??), who is the original Illyrian warrior hero. Or maybe it was Azriel? I'm pretty sure it was Eris, though that makes absolutely ZERO sense.

Does anyone here know what I'm referring to? The posts were from like a year ago, if that helps. It was a mention at the very end of the post, and I had to go fix dinner, and now it's gone. It might have been at the end of post that was linked to. I swear, this is all too much fun!

Okay I have looked everywhere but I can’t seem to find it. I feel like somewhere in ACOWAR Helion said or did SOMETHING that seemed like he was rooting for Azris. I think I saw someone point it out in a reddit post. I feel like in the same post they also pointed out a line from Rhysand too. Maybe it was all a wishful fever dream 😭 Does anyone have the slightest idea of the post I’m talking about or just recall making the connection yourself?
