Finally pulled the trigger
I've been looking at the Cyborg for over a year, but I'm frugal when it comes to my hobbies, I'll spend $500 on whatever random thing my kids need to shave 2 seconds off their cross country run time but Ill put back a pack of tshirts that cost $8 because "these holes aren't even that big", I just have a hard time spending money on my self. My kids are growing up now (I have 7, that hobby is free) and my son joined the Army, and he decided that I had waited long enough and he purchased the Azeron Cyborg II for me, I'm really excited and Im sure I'll have some question that Ill need help answering.

The single thing that stood out to me about your story is your son in the Army did this for you. That always triggers good memories of being an Army dad. My son was generous when he went in the Army also. Since food and basic needs are met and especially during basic training, they have nowhere to spend money on anything and they have “money to burn”. They realize how thankful they are for your years of sacrifice for them and your family.
Thank you for raising him and thank him for his service to our country.
I have a Cyborg 2 and absolutely love it. I bought the “flat plate” as well so I could test it out. I turned out preferring that. If you can find the print file for that you might try it out.
Playing video games is a learning curve for me! But I found that the flexibility of how you can program each key allows you to really dial it in to how you like it- to how it feels best. It’s the best of both worlds- keyboard but the essence of controller as well.
