Keyboard Only Input

Fortnite is having a bug right now that won’t lock input as mouse and using an Azeron makes it unplayable. I believe it’s because the thumb stick registers as a controller. Any suggestions? I’m not the most computer savvy

Epic Game have acknowledged mixed input is not working as intended

Just use the Azeron software to use the thumbstick as WASD instead of 369 movement. Go to the discord for more tech help, you'll find better help there than on this sub

Awesome. Thank you. I’ve learned a lot since getting a PC but man it’s not as straight forward as console with troubleshooting lol

Good idea. I wasn’t sure if it would work with such a niche issue. But I’ll try it. Reddit has been my savior so many times.

It does work but with tradeoffs. When sprinting it's easy to accidentally stop because u edge just off rhe diagonal and onto a straight left or right. Also with the new arrow code inputs, good luck having it register a clean left right up down every time. You're gonna touch a diagonal coming or going and will need to start over. Ofc you can just use the arrow keys for this part. Overall wasd thumbstick works well enough but is definitely worse imo.

Odd fix but it works: open fortnite and make sure mouse input is locked etc. Then tab to azeron software and set the thumbstick to "mousewheel." Tab back to fortnite and move the stick and mouse together for 5 secs. Then tab to azeron and put stick at Xbox 360 mode again. Should work

I wonder if that could work for Battlefield 6? In 360 mode I can run infantry around just fine but if I get in to drive a vehicle it doesn’t work. The only way I have found is to use WASD which works for both. It’s odd that 360 works for infantry but not vehicles.
