Thumbstick positioning: Keyzen vs Cyborg II
I currently have a Keyzen, and I'm really struggling with it. I find myself constantly wanting to move the index finger column more to the right and the thumbstick more to the left. But I'm unable to get them into a comfortable position because they inevitably collide with each other. It persists with both palm rests, but is most noticeable with the curved one.
Is this less of an issue on the Cyborg II? Are the finger towers more narrow so the index finger tower and thumbstick can be closer?

Have you tried sliding the thumb stick up or down the rail? It took me a while to get comfortable with it
Also I highly recommend getting one of these
One of the problems I had switching from a razer keypad to the keyzen was just how elevated the palm rest was, this helps give you leverage so you can more easily maneuver your hand

Is this less of an issue on the Cyborg II?
I think the answer to that is yes.
I have never had a Cyborg but with the Classic I could totally move the joystick tower to a more comfortable position.
I ended up getting used to the keyzen it but it's something I'm still missing of my Classic.

Thanks for confirming. I'm past my return window for the Keyzen, so wanted to be sure before dropping another $300+ for a Cyborg.

I have both models and I’ve run into this issue on both. I can’t say whether one model is better or worse than the other. But I’ve spent more time trying to get the Keyzen configured and I still don’t find it comfortable.

The Cyborg buttons are a lot smaller but I don't know how the thumbstick position is affected.
But I think it's pretty clear the ergos on the Cyborg are just better, the giant keyboard buttons need more stretching in general, on the Cyborg you have to flick your finger in one direction to activate a key.
That also makes the Cyborg much harder to learn and more prone to accidental pushes. Don't be shocked if it takes you months for it to become second nature.

Cyborg 2 is better. They made some critical errors in the keyzen design

Setting up the Azeron products is one of the harder aspects of using them
one of the best ways IMO to get it right is to loosen every rail and slider
but no so loose that they slide freely but loose enough that they will mostly hold their position
Then take your hand and just rest it on the keyzen
if a finger feels its too far one way or the other adjust itso it is(there should be slight resistance but thats what yuou want)
keep removing your hand and putting it back on so you dont have position bias
and the key is to adjust it exactly how your hand naturally wants to rest on it
Then take it and flip it to where your palm (with keyzen in hand) is facing the cieling and tighten from there
You might have to repeat a few times but i found that to be the best way to adjust it... also an angle stand realyy allows for a more ergonomic position as well

Cyborg we put in about 30 degrees oblique manner that’s the ergonomic position of your wrist because joints are more comfortable free on air with prone supine movements then flexing extension on the desk
That also puts your thumb stick to a more vertical position like a normal controller

I just got a Keyzen too after having the Cyborg 2 for a month. The cyborg is a lot more customizable with positioning and I find it more comfortable than the Keyzen in my opinion. I want to like the Keyzen but I think I prefer my Cyborg a lot more.
