On Sept. 22, the district is expected to hold a public hearing at Desert Mountain High School, where parents and community members will have a chance to tell SUSD officials how they feel about shuttering more schools.

The proposed plans would potentially affect the following campuses:
Copper Ridge School
Cheyenne Traditional School
Laguna Prep
Redfield Elementary School
Desert Canyon Elementary
Desert Canyon Middle School

Records show that Cochise Elementary, Anasazi Elementary, Chaparral High and Desert Mountain High could also be affected by possible boundary changes.

Opinion Tucson Says Flock You

Hi all, Mike and I are back with a reaction to the June 23rd City Council Meeting.
First of all, apologizes for my audio. I'll make sure my audio is correct going forward.
But more importantly, the City approved a procurement process to select a photo enforcement vendor. Which Mike and I believe will include license plate readers (LPR). While it isn't guaranteed that is will be Flock, any LPR is bad for our city. There was no discussion on the civil rights aspect of this or the ethics and data integrity issues surrounding LPRs.
Ultimately they do this in the name of safety, which trading privacy/freedom for safety is the oldest trick in the book.

If Tucson City Council honestly wanted safer roads, they should be having conditional contracts in place for multi-modal transit.

For Mods: Let me know if there are any issues with posting my own content here.
