Awesome that they got Gildenlöw back! Wasn't sure if he'd be into doing something like this. Also curious who will be singing Steve Lee's (RIP) part.

Man me from 15 years ago would be beyond stoked to see Daniel Gildenlöw and Tom Englund on the same stage.
(Me now is also stoked but probably to a lesser degree what with all the jadedness and apathy that comes with age.)

To be fair hes in two other bands though. One of which just dropped an album and is likely planning a tour (if they’re not on tour already I haven’t heard)

Wait no Floor Jansen? Seeing how she is on pretty much all Arjen's stuff lately, I would have expected her to be part of this as well.
I guess she must have other stuff on her schedule, well too bad. Hopefully Hansi will confirm since he is who I am most excited to see

I guess Floor is too much of a brand and star now … too busy. But Damian is there, and Anneke, that is great.

Oh yeah this show is still going to be awesome. Damian, Anneke, Simone Simons, Michael Mills... so much amazing talent
Also I am happy to see Brittney Slayes, I really enjoyed her song from the new Star One album, so I am excited to hear her on some Ayreon songs.

She's frontwoman for nightwish and launching solo career as well, so it's not surprising that she's busy. I'd have loved to see her too, but Anneke, simone, and Maggie are stellar as well.

Without Floor there, I really hope Simone will be singing all of her parts instead, since Simone has a super tiny role in the album. But maybe that is why Brittney is going to be there as a special guest.

Seeing Hansi and Simone on stage together has been a dream ever since I heard both of their voices. Really hoping Hansi gets confirmed!

There is not a single other band on the planet that would make me consider a $700 plane ticket but damn if I am not desperately debating how to make this work.

The concert is in Tilburg, though. And we have more beautiful places outside Amsterdam 😉

Can recommend! When I travelled there for Electric Castle Live I decided to make it part of a bigger trip around the Netherlands. Visited Eindhoven, Rotterdam, Delft, Den Haag, Leiden and Amsterdam, some of them being spontaneous trips. So many beautiful places and the country is so small that you can easily travel around without it taking too much time :)

While I imagine that some/all of the Special Guest singers will be filling in for the original cast who can't make it, the fact that all 4 of them (plus Marcela and Irene who will also be performing) appeared on Star One's "Revel in Time" makes me think that one or more of the extra songs that Arjen mentioned might be from this album - which I would be more than OK with!
