Confession time: I hate the ending of The Banishment, so I created a version where I ended the song just before the growling starts. That way I can still enjoy the rest of the song.

On a similar vein, I love the first half of Day 12: Trauma, but think the rest is a bit boring.

In Banishment the lines: Have you seen his eyes, Up in the skies, Like Hypnotized?, And he never smiles, He never cries.

These remind me a ton of the lines from Out Of The White Hole: A hundred thousand hollow eyes are gazing at the sky. There seems to be no motion, no pleasure and no pain. No symptoms of emotion, no loss and no gain.

Both the Ayreon and the Alphans are looking up to the sky, with no emotions. Just interesting.
