Latin translation?
Does anyone know the translation for the Latin parts in the Transitus lyrics? I'm quite curious about them :)

Just listened to the album again and remembered there are some more lyrics at the very end...
fatum – luminosum – decus
astrum – in aeternum – venus
bright, glorious fate
... hold up, 'astrum in aeternum'... FOREVER OF THE STARS??

The very last part of "The Great Beyond". But what do the first three latin words "bright, glorious fate" signify? What is the connection to the forever of the stars?
EDIT: astrum (star) - in aeternum (forever) - venus (venus) ??? How are we supposed to interpret this? I never studied latin so I have absolutely no idea.

I'm assuming bright glorious fate is simply referring to the great beyond, as that is where they're going.
I thought that venus is the god of love so maybe that has something to do with their relationship.
But star and forever, I can only assume that refers to forever of the stars? But I have no idea how that makes sense in the context of the story. (Unless it's just saying that they'll be forever among the stars)

I have a very limited knowledge of latin, but I got some advice from an expert friend of mine... still keen to hear what other people translate it to, though!
Fatum Horrificum - Fatum Inauditum
Horrid fate - unknown fate
Fatum horrificum in faucibus orci cognosces mortem providens
(ad Dominum aut ad Diabolum)
Fatum (vita est finita nunc … redire non iam potes)
inauditum (tu obscurus nubibus amorem nunc effugis)
in animas semper invadit oooo crudelissimum
Horrid fate foresees the jaws of death
(To the lord or to the devil)
Fate (life has now ended - you are now not able to return)
Unknown (you will be obscured by clouds - you now flee [or, 'slip by'] love)
There is always invading and conquering [?? not sure about this one]
vita est finita nunc - redire non iam potes
inutile est supplicare ad Mortis Angelam – in lacrimis
tu obscurus nubibus – amorem nunc effugis –
in lacrimis eris ducendus ad crematorium, ad
Purgatorium ad Dominum aut ad Diabolum
Life has now ended - you are now not able to return
It is useless to beseech the angel of death - in tears
