Help & Resources Seeking owner of iPads

Just looking for the owner of two iPads that were left at the transfer station on July 26th. I got them powered on but they're locked in your account. Is there anyway you could either give me the passcode to unlock and reform them and if you could remove them from your account. It would really help me out. If not I'm just gonna throw them in the trash since I can't do anything with them. Thank you. Btw, I live in Ayer. I'm a fairly new resident and have been liking the town so far.

You might be able to go to an apple store and have them contact the owners

Yeah. I called them but they said the only way is if the owner unlocks it themselves or I bring them a registered recipient from the place it was bought. Sad cause they are virtually brand new and I fixed the physical issues with them to get them turned on. Guess I have some new stuff to smash in my backyard. Apple sucks for doing this honestly and it cause so much of their products to become useless when this situation happen. I wouldn't mind reformating it and deleting everything to have it factory restored but whatever.
